Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp said Mohamed Salah's statistics were "crazy" after the Egyptian striker scored two goals in a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League on Sunday.

After two consecutive losses in the league, Salah gave Liverpool a two-goal lead before the end of the first half, and the Reds overcame great pressure in the second half after Harry Kane reduced the difference for the home side.

Salah is 3 goals away from overtaking the legendary Kenny Dalglish in the list of Liverpool's best scorers ever, and Klopp said that the Egypt captain will not stop there.

Klopp said, "Perhaps Kenny Dalglish and Robbie Fowler had times when neither of them scored. Salah won't stop, he's among the top 8 scorers in Liverpool and he won't stop."

"When you look at Salah's statistics, goals and aid, it's crazy," he added.

Salah has scored only 6 goals in the Premier League this season, but he is looking forward to returning to his best, which is positive for the Liverpool team trying to make up for their disastrous start to the season.

Salah participated in scoring or making 19 goals in 20 matches in all competitions this season, a number that he has only surpassed once at this stage in the 6 seasons he spent with the club.

"Even with the slow start, he was involved in creating the highest number of chances in Europe, but we did not or did not take advantage of them," Klopp said.

"This can happen to a striker, it's a completely normal stage... In the end when you look at his career after 4, 5 or 6 years, everyone will remember one of the best strikers I've ever seen."

The German coach continued, "Tonight, what made me happy the most is that he scored the two goals and then played collectively with the team."

And who else?

The Egyptian King Mohamed Salah is definitely the player of the match after a great double that decided the victory for the Reds!

After two losses to Nottingham Forest and Leeds United, Klopp celebrated wildly at the end of the match, acknowledging that the victory over Tottenham could be a key moment for his side, who climbed to eighth place.

"Yes, I was a little affected, but it was a very big match," Klopp said.
