On Tuesday, the new national team captain Sam Hallam took out his first national team squad and Oscar Möller was there.

It will be the veteran's first collection in over four years.

- It will be exciting to show what you are going for.

Nice that there are so many people from our gang.

It's just a matter of letting your legs go when you get to play, he tells SVT Sport.

Have you spoken to Sam about your role in the team?

- We had a small conversation when we were talking and he asked if I would come and play.

But not so much in detail.

I will try to contribute what I can, skate a lot and create spaces for my teammates.

And try to put a puck there.

Håkan Loob likes the selection of Skellefteå's team captain.

- I have always liked Möller.

The fact that he wants to return is a sign of drive towards something and I think he sees that it can be a winning concept with Sam Hallam.

He is a good player with the international game in him, he says.

There aren't usually that many SHL players in a WC squad, but Loob thinks Möller can be one of them.

- Speculating on a World Cup squad is difficult, but if he has the will and continues to deliver, he can definitely be a name for a World Cup squad.
