When the Korean national football team's 'ace' Heung-Min Son collapsed from an injury, fans poured criticism on Marseille's Chancel Mbemba, who collided with him.

Heung-Min Son, Marseille (France) and Marseille (France) on the 2nd (local time) and during the final 6th match of the 2022-2023 UEFA Champions League (UCL) group stage match for an aerial ball, hit Mbemba's shoulder with a strong left face and collapsed. He was substituted in the 29th minute of the first half.

Afterwards, Tottenham Hotspur announced that Son Heung-min was scheduled to undergo surgery for an orbital fracture.

It is currently unknown whether Son Heung-min will be able to play the 2022 Qatar World Cup, which starts on the 20th, normally.

After the match between the two teams, fans angry at Son Heung-min's injury responded to Mbemba's social networking service (SNS).

His recent posts were followed by criticism and abusive language using Korean and English, various emoticons, and racist comments appeared.

Some fans instead apologized for some fans' outrageous behavior.

An Instagram user who identified himself as Korean said, "I have a different opinion from those who criticize you. It was a common occurrence in soccer."

Mbemba and Heung-Min Son also had a bad relationship in the first round of the UCL group stage in September.

Heung-Min Son, who was breaking into the penalty area after receiving a pass from Harry Kane in the second minute, stumbled over Mbemba's tackle and induced his red card.

Then, in the second meeting, which took place in about two months, Son Heung-min took on an unexpected injury.
