In the qualifier last spring, Skellefteå lost against Gothenburg HC, who took the SDHL place.

Gothenburg won the qualifier 2-1 in matches.

Skellefteå has been in five straight SDHL qualifiers.

- There must have been problems over several years.

That this comes after we have won one of three matches in the qualifiers this spring, of course it makes us feel sad.

We have the conditions to be able to compete at SDHL level, it would have worked, says Skellefteå's general manager Ulrika Dahlgren to Expressen.

Gothenburg has already played 13 games this season.

Skellefteå is interested in taking over the place already now - or until next season.

Skellefteå now plays in the women's north.

- Spontaneously, yes, we want the chance, but this must be reviewed financially and if it is possible.

Our club director and sports manager are currently involved, says Dahlgren.
