Walter Wallberg, 22, made a big success when he took Sweden's first ever Olympic gold in hump in Beijing earlier this year.

Now the Swede is ready for new successes, even if the upload for this year's season did not go as planned when he broke his wrist last week during a training session in Idre.

- After the crash, I immediately felt that this is not good.

It hurt terribly.

I checked the wrist and it looked completely crooked.

When I got to the hospital they had to straighten it out.

The WC is the big goal

Despite the serious injury, Wallberg was not forced to operate on his hand.

- It was four weeks in plaster.

Luckily I escaped surgery but will have the cast removed on November 22.

After that, I start with some rehab to get the mobility going again.

Then we'll see with the World Cup start in Ruka if I'll drive it or not.

We'll see when I take the cast off.

What does the goal picture look like this season?

- I want to go to Ruka.

It is the goal to get started when the season starts.

The overall World Cup is a big goal so it would have been sad not to start there and give away a competition.

But the biggest goal this year is, after all, the WC.
