Member of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Body Building and Fitness and Chairman of the Technical Committee, Mohammed Al Hosani, confirmed that the Emirati superiority in “Physic” within the Dubai Classic Bodybuilding Championship is not a coincidence, but a natural extension of the efforts made by the Game Federation headed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi to advance all the sports that It is exercised under the umbrella of the Federation, including Physik.

The tournament was finally concluded at the Dubai World Trade Center with the distinguished participation of a group of international players from different countries of the world, in which Khaled Al-Naqbi won the gold of the champion of champions and the gold of his category, in addition to the golds of Rashid Al-Habsi and Ahmed Ashkanani.

Al Hosani told "Emirates Today": "The International Federation made this game known in 2014 as an official sport, and its practice was launched in the UAE in 2015."

He continued, "Physics is much easier than traditional bodybuilding because the competition focuses on the upper part of the person, which gives a good opportunity for players who do not have good physical characteristics in the lower part, and therefore does not deprive them of participating in the competitions."

He continued, “The Physique player needs much less effort than his peers, but despite that, it is a sport that requires high tactics and great focus during preparation for it and during official presentations. The presence of distinguished coaches in the country contributed to the presence of many distinguished players, and some of them contributed to achieving achievements.” High-level leadership led to excellence in various tournaments, including the gold medal in the World Championships held in 2019 in Fujairah, which was won by Abdullah Rabia Al-Mansoori, followed by many medals at the Asian level.
