After 13 straight victories, the day came when Luleå was defeated in the SDHL.

Because after the final whistle it was 3-2 on the scoreboard to Brynäs and the home team's players celebrated and congratulated each other afterwards with big smiles on their faces.

Brynä's victory came after the loss against Modo yesterday.

- I am very satisfied with how we played today.

We had a tough talk after the loss yesterday.

And today we really showed on the ice that we wanted to win, says Brynäs team captain Rosa Lindstedt in C More's broadcast.

Anna Meixner made it 3-2 in the middle period

The winning shot from the Gävle team came in the middle period just before the break.

Lara Stalder had a shot that was saved, but was able to pass on the rebound to Anna Meixner who swept in her second goal of the day without hesitation.

Unfortunate for Luleå goalie Frida Axell who appeared to have caught the puck against her body with the picking glove, but dropped it again.

The young Brynäs goalkeeper got the chance at the end

In the final period, Luleå did everything to score an equalizing goal.

With barely three minutes left in the match, the reigning champion team took time out and then picked out the goalkeeper.

But Brynäs didn't let in any more pucks.

In the shaky final minutes, young Brynäs keeper Felicia Frank, born in 2005, also got the chance to guard the cage when Klara Peslarova was injured.

A task the 17-year-old solved with flying colors in the critical stage of the match.
