The opening of the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship in the UAE tomorrow

The 27th edition of the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship will start tomorrow at the Jiu-Jitsu Arena in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi, and will continue until November 8, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office.

2000 players from 70 countries around the world will participate in the event.

The first day’s competitions include the opening ceremony, and it includes a set of distinguished paragraphs, and opening speeches from the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation and the organizing country to welcome the sponsor of the ceremony and the country’s guests.

Yousef Abdullah Al-Batran, member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, stressed that the UAE and the world capital of Jiu-Jitsu Abu Dhabi are fully prepared to celebrate its guests, athletes, representatives of delegations of participating countries, and fans from all over the world, to provide them with a unique experience at all levels, that remains in their memory, and reflects their capabilities. On the other hand, the players of the national team for the U-16 category carried out the official weight procedures this afternoon and passed them successfully, as part of preparations to enter the competitions tomorrow.
