Young dad of a small Skai since October 15, Gaël Monfils will not be on the grounds of Paris-Bercy from next Monday.

The French number one has just announced his package this Friday on his Twitter account.

“I am still limited in my movements on the court.

So I won't be able to defend my chances, ”said the 36-year-old.

He announces that he wants to “take advantage of the end of the year to prepare for the following season”.

His 2022 season therefore ends with a record of 14 wins for 7 losses, and a title obtained in Adelaide (Australia) in January.

Finalist in 2009 and 2010 at the Masters 1000 of Paris-Bercy, Gaël Monfils had injured his foot in August in Montreal.
