Doubts about Haaland's participation against Leicester City

There is doubt about the participation of Norwegian top scorer Erling Haaland in the weekend match against Leicester City in the English Premier League, according to his coach, Pep Guardiola.

The deadly striker was replaced between the two halves of the match between City and Borussia Dortmund (0-0), Tuesday, in the fifth penultimate round of the Champions League in football.

"We were very tired," Manchester City coach Guardiola said after the match.

Haaland had a bit of a fever before the match, Joao too.

Erling took a small kick in the foot and that's why he didn't play in the second half, but he came back to running normally."

In the absence of Halland, Algerian Riyad Mahrez missed a penalty kick in the second half, ending the match with a draw that brought Borussia Dortmund to the round of 16, joining the England champions.

City will beat Leicester on Saturday in the English Premier League, where they are second behind Arsenal.

Haaland scored 17 goals in 11 league games after joining from Dortmund last summer.
