Sports, with hosting many international and regional championships, has attracted new athletes and a wide audience among different nationalities,” he said, noting the support of His Highness, the Crown Prince of Dubai, for the Emirates Padel Tennis Federation, to achieve its mission in spreading and developing this sport, which resulted in the emergence of a group of talented players, and a strong team that was able to deservedly Winning the title of the first edition of the Gulf Cup for Padel Tennis.

His Highness, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council concluded by saying: “The organization of the World Padel Tennis Championship in Dubai confirms the position of the UAE on the world sports map, and highlights its ability to host and organize the largest and most important international and international events in various sports, and the organization of the event confirms the confidence of the International Federation of the game in the ability of the children The UAE has made this version the best among the previous world championships for the same game.”

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed expressed his welcome to all participants in the tournament, pointing out that all preparations have been taken in order to provide all the ingredients that guarantee the participants a comfortable and distinguished stay in a city that has become a center for global sports, and a model for success in various fields.

The Padel Federation is organizing the international sports event for the first time in the UAE, at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium, which can accommodate 5,000 fans, and the tournament includes two separate categories for men and women.

16 national teams are participating in each category, and the men's national team, consisting of 8 players, is competing in the tournament for the first time on its soil, and seeks to represent the region against a list of the most prominent leading countries in this sport.

Among the countries participating in this edition of the tournament are: Egypt, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, France, Italy, Mexico, Paraguay, Spain and Uruguay.

It is noteworthy that this edition of the World Padel Tennis Championship, which is organized every two years, is organized by the International Padel Federation, and hosted by the Emirates Padel Federation, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council and the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai.
