Breaking, a new event for the Paris Olympics, is a one-on-one dance show performed alternately to music played by a DJ, competing for technique and expressiveness.

The third World Championships opened in South Korea on the 21st, and the men's and women's qualifiers were held, and the top 32 advanced to the round on the 22nd.

Ayumi Fukushima, a female athlete who won the second world championship held in France last year and is aiming for a second straight victory, showed off her "headspin" and expressive performance.

In the men's event, Shigeyuki Nakarai, who has won a bronze medal at the Youth Olympics, demonstrated his specialty, "Freeze", in which he stops his movements in time with the music from his sharp movements.

The top 32 men's and women's men's and women's breaking world championships will compete against each other, with the top two advancing to the finals.
