On Friday evening, Swedish star Mikael Ymer withdrew from the Stockholm Open.

He was pitted against Greek world number five Stefanos Tsitsipas – and lost a match that lasted just under two hours (5–7, 3–6).

Ymer had several chances to break Tsitsipa's serve in the first set, but failed.

In the second set, the class difference between the players became clear.

- But it was hard inside.

Mikael played good tennis today, says SVT Sports expert Magnus Gustafsson.

The Swedish 24-year-old has faced Tsitsipas five times in his career now, but never won a set.

All Swedes are thus eliminated from the tournament, which is played in the Royal Tennis Hall.
