Earlier this fall, the International Skiing Federation (FIS) General Secretary Michel Vion opened the door for a re-entry of Russian and Belarusian athletes into their competitions.

But according to board member Martti Uusitalo, that door is completely closed.

- Nothing has changed and I have not received any indications that it would.

Russian athletes will not appear in Fis competitions next season, he says-

He believes that the official decision, which also applies to Belarusian athletes, will be made at a meeting on Saturday.

- At the meeting, we note that the decision made will apply in the coming season.

After the meeting, we inform you that the decision continues to apply.

The Alpine World Cup is first out as it kicks off in the Austrian Sölden on Saturday.
