The hope of a new contract is still alive for AIK, but it would have looked much better if they had managed to hold off and secure a point in the derby against Hammarby.

A late goal by Matilda Vinberg, however, ruined the day for the black and yellow, who are now four points up on Umeå IK in the negative qualifying spot and six up on Kalmar, who are currently on firm ground in the table.

- It's fun to win a derby and to score a goal is super fun.

It was nice to get three points, says Vinberg and continues:

- It's a typical derby match, a lot of emotion out on the pitch.

We face an AIK who are desperate and they play a low defensive game that makes it difficult to get into the areas we want to be in, but in the end we got the ball in.

Three rounds remain and one cannot directly claim that AIK has an advantageous schedule.

Away matches against Vittsjö and Häcken are followed up with a meeting with the bottom colleague Kalmar in the last round.
