Sweden is pitted against the great team France in an international match that has attracted large audiences.
Wendie Renard, everyday in Lyon, believes that it is a real challenge that awaits her team.
- I think it will be a very technical match.
For us it will be important to start very well and put a lot of pressure.
A lot of aggressiveness to get the ball back, she says.
She pays tribute to the Swedish team - and specifically Kosovare Asllani.
- It is a good team with a lot of quality.
Individually, Asllani is a great player.
She plays very well both with and without the ball.
I think the whole team and all the players play together.
They both attack and defend together.
This summer's EC ended with France, just like Sweden, going out in the semi-finals.
- It is important to take away a lot of experience from it.
Sometimes it is important to make mistakes, learn from them and then try to improve, says Renard.
