Guardiola confirms Kyle Walker will be out for a while due to injury

The place of Kyle Walker, the Manchester City player, in the list of the England football team participating in the World Cup "Qatar 2022", is in danger, especially as the player will miss matches for a period due to an abdominal injury.

And the British news agency "BA Media" reported that Walker missed the match that Manchester City won 5-0 against Copenhagen in the Champions League yesterday.

Manchester City coach Guardiola said after the match that he was unable to determine the time period in which the 32-year-old would be absent, with only six weeks left until the start of the World Cup.

He added, "It's an abdominal injury and he will be out for a while. I don't know how long. I can't say anything else."

He confirmed, "Kyle will be out for a while. We have to talk to the doctors. We hope he will be back (before the World Cup) like Calvin Phillips."

And he added: "I know the importance of the World Cup for the players, but frankly, I don't know right now."

Joao Cancelo played in the right-back position for Manchester City yesterday, Wednesday, while Sergio Gomez played in the left-back position, but in the second half, Guardiola pushed young players, the first is Rico Luis and played at the right-back position, and the second is Josh Wilson-Esbrand and played in the full-back position left.

Guardiola said: "We have to get everyone involved. Rico is only 17 years old, but I know the problems we are going through right now. We don't have many options in the left and right back positions."

"Rico has shown me once again that we can fully rely on him even if he is 17 years old," he said.
