Wakaba Higuchi, who finished 5th in the women's single figure skating at the Beijing Olympics in February this year, will miss all future competitions this season due to an injury to her right leg.

21-year-old Higuchi participated in the Beijing Olympics in February this year, contributed to the team's bronze medal acquisition, and finished fifth in women's singles, such as deciding a triple axel.



However, in April, she was found to have a stress fracture in her right ankle, and since then she has been practicing while monitoring her condition, but due to her slow recovery, she will not be able to participate in all future events this season. I will miss the tournament.



For this reason, Higuchi will miss the two Grand Prix series tournaments, including the NHK Trophy next month, and the All Japan Championship, which he was scheduled to participate in next month.
