The Saudi Crescent renews the Cuyar contract until 2024

Al Hilal, the second Saudi football league, extended the contract of its Colombian international player Gustavo Cuellar for one season, until 2024.

Al-Hilal posted on his Twitter page a video clip and several pictures during the signing of the new contract for the 29-year-old, accompanied by the comments “I will stay crescent”, “New Year with the warrior” and “With a lot of love .. another year with the chief of Asia.”

Al Hilal signed the Colombian midfielder in August 2019 from the Brazilian club Flamengo, with a deal estimated at 7.5 million euros.

Cuellar participated in the Al Hilal shirt in 98 games, and since his arrival, he contributed to his team winning the league title 3 times and the cup once, in addition to the AFC Champions League in 2019 and 2021.

Cuellar, player of Deportivo Cali and Junior, defended the colors of his country in 23 matches, during which he scored a goal.

Al Hilal occupies second place with 12 points from 5 matches, 3 points behind the leaders Al Shabab, knowing that Al Azraq received its first loss this season at home to Al Taawun 1-2 in the last stage.
