Mohamed Salah despite Liverpool's victory: It was not a perfect night

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah stressed the importance of Liverpool's 2-0 win over Glasgow Rangers in the third round of the Champions League group stage.

"It was not quite the perfect night, but it was a good performance and we won," Salah told the UEFA official website.

"We created a lot of chances and deserved to win, so we can be really happy with the performance and the result, the squad did really well, and all four attacking players wanted to score."

"There are certainly things to improve, but we take it game by game, we did well tonight but we need to keep working on certain aspects to make sure we improve."

Salah was named player of the match after scoring a penalty kick in the second half, after his colleague Trent Alexander-Arnold had opened the scoring in the first half.
