Klopp plans to expel Mohamed Salah.. Will the Egyptian pharaoh leave Liverpool

English media reported that Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp plans to remove Egyptian star Mohamed Salah from the main list after his modest levels since the beginning of the season, which may open the door for the Egyptian pharaoh to leave despite the renewal of his contract with Liverpool until 2025.

Salah scored only two goals in the first eight rounds of the English Premier League with Liverpool, while the Manchester City striker tops the list of scorers with 14 goals.

Former Leeds and Coventry City striker Noel Whelan told Football Insider: "Jurgen Klopp was very patient with Salah and stood by him to support him over the past weeks, but I think the German coach's patience ran out and his conviction will change soon, he will remove Salah from the starting lineup, and I do not mean the rotation system, Rather, it will remove him completely from the list and keep him by his side on the bench, and I believe that Salah knows his coach’s intentions.”

He continued: "Roberto Firmino scores goals and plays well, and Luis Diaz is the captain of Liverpool's attack at the present time, and Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota will do everything they have to get the main striker's position."

Whelan believes that this decision will be in Salah's interest, and he continued: “Salah may benefit from sitting on the bench to spark the challenge within him and motivate himself. Sometimes a person needs some pain to get back on the right track, and this applies to Salah, who is no longer the same player since His country lost the African Nations Cup at the beginning of this year.”
