They are not about to see a real football lawn again.

Ten Montpellier supporters were banned from the stadium on Tuesday, following a hearing at the Toulouse court.

They were arrested on Sunday during the incidents that marred the meeting between TFC and Montpellier at the Stadium.

This sanction is linked to the introduction and use of pyrotechnic devices in their stands, specifies the Toulouse prosecutor's office.

The events had led to a police intervention in the Montpellier stand and an interruption of the meeting for fifteen minutes.

One of the ten supporters also had to answer for "violence against a person holding public authority".

On the Toulouse side, three minors - aged 13, 14 and 16 - are summoned this week to the courthouse for having also used smoke bombs.

Two investigations still ongoing

In addition, "an investigation is still in progress" to "identify the people" who participated in a pyrotechnic tifo when the players entered and in a tribute to Brice Taton, a Toulouse supporter killed 13 years earlier by hooligans in Belgrade.

And a second investigation remains open "for acts of willful violence and damage to public utility property" which were committed at the "visitor" bar.

This match was classified at risk by the Haute-Garonne prefecture.

On the field, it ended in a victory for the Violets, 4 to 2.
