Zecira Musovic (Chelsea), Emma Holmgren (Lyon) and newcomer Emma Lind (Roma).

It is the goalkeepers who are selected for the two training matches against Spain and France in October.

The question is who will get the chance in the first match, this Friday against Spain.

- We'll see.

It is clear that all three want to stand, all want to show themselves.

I haven't decided at the moment, but we'll see how the training looks this week, says Peter Gerhardsson.

Lindahl has often been the first choice

He also wants the chance to discuss the decision with the national team's goalkeeper coach Leif Troedsson.

The national team has been gathered in Spain since Monday and during the week there is the chance to show the front legs.

- Leffe usually has clever ideas.

But performance in training will be crucial to how we line up here against Spain.

From the outside, Hedvig Lindahl has been a fairly obvious "first goalkeeper" in recent years.

At the same time, Gerhardsson believes that it has never been a given who will stand, and that the competition for the position is very even.

Pays tribute to the psyche of the goalkeepers: "Fantastic"

- When I started in 2017, Hedvig was ahead of the other goalkeepers, but the others have caught up and both for the WC 2019 and for the Olympics 2021 there have been tough selections each time.

The fact that Lindahl has for many years been quite given in goal, has it affected the other goalkeepers?

- Based on that, the others, I am thinking of above all Jennifer Falk and Zecira Musovic, have been fantastic in how they have tackled the role behind.

They are skilled goalkeepers and just like other players (who are not selected in matches) they end up outside the team.

Then it's a bit special with the goalkeeper in particular because you rarely replace them during a match, says Peter Gerhardsson.
