It will be the first time that the Winter Asian Games will be held in the Middle East, and 47 events will be held at a mountain resort in Saudi Arabia.



The Asian Winter Games were started in 1986 by Japan to improve the competitiveness of winter sports in Asia, and have been held eight times so far.



In principle, it was supposed to be held once every four years, but recently it has been difficult to select the venue, and if it is held in 2029, it will be the first time in 12 years since it was held in Hokkaido in 2017. .
