Gothenburg's attacking star Marcus Berg was sent off in the 1–3 loss against Elfsborg.

The 36-year-old was irritated after missing a penalty, and the altercation with referee Kristoffer Karlsson eventually led to Berg's second yellow card of the match.

And red card.

- Marcus Berg should know that Kristoffer Karlsson (the referee of the match) loves to pick up his cards, and he should know where to stop somewhere.

He doesn't do that in that situation, it's unexperienced by Berg, who has the most experience out on the field, says SVT Sports expert Daniel Nannskog in Fotbollsstudion.

Gothenburg is eighth in the Allsvenskan with six rounds remaining.
