Lucas Elvenes returned from North America as a star signing for HV71.

But it didn't work in the Jönköping club and he broke the contract after only three games.

The next day, the Rögle product signed a contract with Leksand that extends over the 2024-2025 season.

- I am very much looking forward to playing for Leksands IF.

I have played under Björn's (Hellkvist, coach) management before, and it will be fun to work with him again, says Elvenes.

Leksand's general manager Thomas Johansson says that Elvenes is a relatively cheap solution.

- To be able to bring Lucas in already now, he has accepted a very favorable contract from Leksands IF's perspective, which also shows his willingness to come to our environment and develop further, he says.
