In the women's soccer WE League Cup final, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Urawa Red Diamonds defeated Nittele Tokyo Verdi Beleza in a penalty kick match to become the inaugural champions.
The final of the WE League Cup was held on the 1st in Kita-ku, Tokyo, where Beleza faced off against the Reds.
