In this competition, a total of 32 men's teams and 28 women's teams competed for the World Table Tennis Championships team championship trophies - the Swaythlin Cup and the Corbillon Cup.
The host Chinese team, as the defending champion and top seed of the men's and women's teams, will strive to stand on the top podium again.
The national table tennis men's and women's teams sent a "new and old" team composed of Fan Zhendong, Ma Long, Liang Jingkun, Wang Chuqin, Lin Gaoyuan, Sun Yingsha, Chen Meng, Wang Manyu, Wang Yidi, and Chen Xingtong.
According to the results of the draw, the national table tennis men's team's opponents in the same group are Slovenia, the United States, Puerto Rico and Thailand, and the national table tennis women's team is in the same group with the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada and Malaysia.
