Frank McCourt takes a step back in Marseille.

The American owner of Olympique de Marseille resigned on September 8 from his position as chairman of the supervisory board of OM, a position he had held since the takeover of the club in 2017.



He was replaced by Barry Cohen.

The general manager of the club, Pedro Iriondo, appointed general manager by the president Pablo Longoria, integrates him, the Management Board.

An announcement that comes as rumors of a sale of the club by Frank McCourt have been stubborn for two seasons already.

But the American keeps repeating that he does not want to part with OM.
