Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic was attacked by foreign and Arab Twitter pioneers, after he saluted Israel before his participation in the Tel Aviv Tennis Open - which began on Monday and will continue until October 2, in exchange for the occupation's welcome.

Djokovic published, through his personal account, on Twitter, today, a handwritten message and his signature, and wrote the beginning of it in Hebrew, "Hello Israel," and then continued in English, "I am very happy and excited to return to Israel. We look forward to a great experience."

Shalom Israel!

Shortly after this tweet was shared, comments poured out on it, most of which attacked the Serbian star, because of his bragging about visiting an "occupied country and always violating the rights of the Palestinians."

One of them commented, "Israel is an apartheid state governed by a policy of eliminating Palestinian existence. The entire existence of Israel depends on this goal. This country has violated the United Nations regulations and the rules of international humanitarian law and human rights law countless times."

'Yoni, Ma Nishma!?'

Djokovic was not spared from the attack of his fans, as one of his fans wrote, "First, it is Palestine, and secondly, I do not recognize this tournament. I will not watch it or encourage it.. See you in the next tournament," and one of the Arab fan pages of the Serbian star commented, "Unfortunately, we can only deny and show What this country mentioned in his tweet is doing to our brothers there, Palestine will remain free and proud.”

Another tweeter went even further, comparing him to Swiss tennis stars Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, since they had not gone to Israel previously, saying, "This is why Djokovic cannot be like Federer or Nadal."

On the other hand, the Serbian star was welcomed by Israel, as the Tel Aviv embassy in Serbia wrote to him, "Welcome to Israel, Djokovic" and was welcomed by the pro-Israel organization Creative Society for Peace.

Dobrodošao u #Izrael Novače!#Shalom @DjokerNole!

Last week, Djokovic sent a letter to the Israeli tennis star in doubles Jonathan Erlich, before the Serbian visited to compete in the Tel Aviv Open.

"Hi Yoni, how are you? I'll see you soon in Tel Aviv, after many years we will be together on the court again, and I know this will be your last tournament.. No I can't wait to see you on the field, it will be an honor to play alongside you and of course we will celebrate outside the field as well."

3 years ago, there was a friendly match between Novak and Nadal in Saudi Arabia . The

Western media sat for two months cursing in Al-Laiba and that they sell themselves for money and how to play in Saudi Arabia. In

the

end, Nadal said, “I am injured and withdrew and the match is canceled

.”
