Among them, Matsuo is from Kyoto Prefecture.

In addition to his batting ability that combines slugging power and competitive strength, he switched from being an infielder to a catcher after entering high school, and has a reputation for his defense that makes use of his strong shoulders and quick footwork.



In this year's Senbatsu, he contributed to the victory as the third batter of Osaka Toin, which boasts a powerful batting line, hit a total of five home runs at Koshien in the spring and summer, and was highly evaluated by professional baseball scouts for his offense and defense.



In addition, the three participated in the Under-18 World Cup held in the United States this month as a representative of Japan and contributed to winning the bronze medal.
