Nadia Nadim is one of Denmark's biggest soccer stars on the women's side and has previously torn her cruciate ligament.

She fought back from it and played in this summer's EC with Denmark.

Now she has pulled off the cruciate ligament again.

34-year-olds play in the American League with Racing Louisville.

"Unfortunately, I tore the cruciate ligament in my left knee in our last match.

I am obviously devastated.

But I've been facing obstacles and getting through tough times ever since I was a kid - so you could say I'm an expert at getting through them.

I was born a fighter and nothing can break me," writes Nadim on social media.

Nadim has received a lot of attention off the pitch as she has been a controversial ambassador for the World Cup in Qatar.
