Luleå had three victories before Sunday's match.

Norbottningarna came from a 4-0 victory against Leksand on Saturday.

However, the match against Brynäs did not start so well for Luleå.

Anna Meixner made it 1-0 to Brynäs eight minutes into the first period, even though the visitors only had three shots on goal in the period.

The receipt came deservedly just before the period break for Luleå, Lisa Johansson scored her second goal of the season.

Nordin two-goal scorer again

The second period ended goalless, but in the last period Luleå's notorious goalscorer woke up.

In the power play, Emma Nordin scored 2–1 and put the home team in the lead for the first time in the match.

In the 54th minute of the match, the same Nordin scored 3–1, her sixth goal of the season.

The result stood the game out.

Luleå's fourth victory out of four possible in the SDHL.

Nordin thus scored two goals for the second game in a row.

She returned home at the end of last season after playing abroad.

- It has been good to have Emma Nordin back, she gives energy to the team, says Jenni Hiirikoski to SVT Sport.
