At the Emirates Stadium, 47,367 spectators watched Arsenal's 4–0 win against local rivals Tottenham in the Women's Super League.

An improvement on the league attendance record by almost 10,000 people, the previous one was from 2019 when 38,262 spectators watched the same meeting.

In this clash, Arsenal got off to a dream start.

Bethany Mead, who won European Championship gold with England this summer, made it 1-0 after just five minutes.

Then just before the half-time break, Dutch star Vivianne Miedema extended the home lead.

Miedema then scored two goals in the middle of the second half, a pass from Stephanie Catley and a header from the striker made it 4–0 to Arsenal.

Immediately after the goal, she was replaced, in connection with that the Swedish national team duo Stina Blackstenius and Lina Hurtig had to leave the bench.

The result stood after their intervention, and Arsenal victory with 4-0 for Arsenal.

Which started the Womens Super League with two 4–0 wins.

Swedish national team midfielder Kosovare Asllani scored one of the winning goals, her second league goal for her new club.
