Victoriano Melero, secretary general of Paris Saint-Germain, was heard as a civil party this week in the investigation for "aggravated violence" and "organized gang scam" in the attack on footballer Kheira Hamraoui, AFP learned Friday from a source familiar with the matter.

According to this source, he was heard at the beginning of the week, the PSG having become a civil party in this incredible case where one of its former players Aminata Diallo, 27, was indicted on September 16, suspected of being the instigator of the aggression, on November 4, 2021, of her ex-teammate and rival Kheira Hamraoui.

Contacted, the club's lawyer declined to comment.

Several people are charged in this case.

Aminata Diallo, whose placement under judicial supervision is under appeal.

Defended by Mes Mourad Battikh, Chloé Redon and Romain Ruiz, she vigorously denies any involvement in the attack.

Four young men, born between 1999 and 2003. Three of them acknowledge their presence at the scene of the attack and have known the reason for their recruitment, a fourth admits having kicked, according to the Versailles prosecutor's office.

Two of them were placed in pre-trial detention, and two others, defended by Me Stéphane Gas, under judicial supervision.

"A senseless criminal project"

A new police custody took place on Tuesday, according to another source familiar with the matter.

A man was thus heard for a few hours as part of a rogatory commission, before being released, this source told AFP.

According to a recent investigation report consulted by AFP, the police are looking for a fifth man, who allegedly committed violence against Kheira Hamraoui, and an intermediary.

In this report, they describe a “senseless criminal project”, fed by a “real hatred” of Diallo towards Hamraoui, to the point of wanting to hurt her according to them to take his post.

They also quote on several occasions the entourage of Diallo, in particular a certain César M., unofficial agent of several players of the PSG, like the star Marie-Antoinette Katoto.

He would have used "intimidation or even threats to force the club's leaders to extend the contracts of all the players whose interests he claimed to defend", say the investigators.

No indictment has yet taken place for the “organized gang scam” aspect of the investigation.
