The Golden Football Award was established in 2003 and is hosted by the "World Champions Club" in Monte Carlo. The qualifications for participating are outstanding active football players aged 28 and above, whose individual and team achievements are outstanding and widely recognized.
The award is selected once a year, only one person is elected at a time, and each player can only win once.
The winners are selected by the media and fans of the Golden Football Awards.
Previous winners include Cristiano Ronaldo (Cristiano Ronaldo), Modric, Buffon, Iniesta and other famous stars.
Wu Lei is the main player of the Chinese men's football team.

Voting will continue in the future, when the 30-person shortlist will be reduced to 10.
