Gif Sundsvall have been more or less calculated throughout the season and at the end it has looked really bad with nine consecutive Allsvenskan losses.

The only thing that has been positive for Giffarna is basically that Helsingborg and Degerfors have had it almost as hard and thanks to that the hope of a new Allsvenskan contract is still alive.

Before today's away meeting with Mjällby, Sundsvall had seven points ahead of Helsingborg in fourteenth place in the table, which means a negative qualification.

Now there is a difference of six points with 21 left to play again after the Giffarna picked a stick against Mjällby.

- It's sad now, because we should take home three points, says Giffarna's Rasmus Lindkvist to Discovery+.

Yes, it was set for a three-pointer after substitute Ronaldo Damu's 1-0 goal in the 78th minute - but Carlos Gracia's equalizer in the final minute of the game changed that.

- Extremely sour, really fucking annoying, says Lindkvist and continues:

- We play a good match so we can take that with us, but it's sad now, because we have to take home three points.

We have to talk together and focus on the next game.
