When Rögle got the chance to play five against three at the end of the first period, they found the net for the first time in this year's SHL - and it wasn't Daniel Zaar's most difficult goal in his career when he scored 1-0 behind an overplayed Brynäs goalkeeper.

It was just the start of a strange match where the visitors first turned around before Rögle caught up and made it 4–2.

The star scorer in the comeback

However, Brynäs forced extra time after two goals in the last eight minutes.

One of the goals was scored by returner Johan Larsson, who scored his first SHL game in over ten years.

Last year's next best scorer in Rögle, Adam Tambellini, then stepped forward and decided in a three-on-three game in front of a jubilant home crowd.

A delicious move put the defense at Brynäs.

- A lot happened in the match, it was nice that I could get it done in the end, says Tambellini in CMore's broadcast.
