Didier Deschamps, the coach of the French football team, revealed this Thursday, September 15 the players selected to participate in the last gathering of the Blues before the World Cup in Qatar, which will begin on November 20.

Faced with the cascade of injuries that have occurred in recent days among French internationals and the unavailability of several executives of the French football team such as Karim Benzema or Paul Pogba, Didier Deschamps had to make choices.

For the next two matches awaiting the Blues, France-Austria (September 22) and Denmark-France (September 25), the coach has chosen to summon AS Monaco defender Benoît Badiashile and his teammate Youssouf Fofana, who will know both their first selection.

In the attacking sector, Randal Kolo Muani, the Eintracht Frankfurt striker, has also been called up.

Also note the return of Olivier Giroud (AC Milan), absent since last March, and Ousmane Dembélé (FC Barcelona), who has not been called up since Euro 2021.
