The match was originally due to take place on Thursday this week, but was postponed due to limited police resources in London due to preparations for Monday's funeral of Queen Elizabeth.

The new game date has consequences for league play, as Arsenal's summit meeting against Manchester City - the teams are currently first and second respectively in the Premier League - must be moved from October 19 to a later date.

"A new date for Arsenal-Manchester City will be announced at a later date," the Premier League wrote in a statement.
