Bayern Munich beat Barcelona 2-0 in the second round of Group C competitions in the Champions League, which saw Inter Milan beat Viktoria Plzen, the Czech Republic, with the same score.

The two goals of the "Bavarian team" were scored by Lucas Hernandez (51), and Leroy Sane added the second goal (54).

Bayern Munich raised its score to 6 points at the top of the standings, and Barcelona's balance stopped at 3 points.

In Group A, Liverpool won a thrilling 2-1 victory over Ajax Amsterdam.

The first half ended with a 1-1 draw, as Egyptian star Mohamed Salah advanced with a goal for Liverpool (17), and ten minutes later, Ghanaian Mohamed Koddous equalized for Ajax.

And one minute before the end of the match, Cameroonian defender Joel Matip snatched the deadly winning goal for Liverpool.

Liverpool, runners-up in the last edition, regained its balance in the Champions League after losing its host Napoli 1-4, while Ajax lost after its victory in the first round against its Scottish guest, Glasgow Rangers, with a clean four.

Ajax, Naples and Liverpool each have 3 points, but Napoli can be unique in the confrontation that brings it together on Wednesday in Glasgow.

In the second group, the Belgian Club Brugge continued to glow in the continental competition with a sweeping victory over its host Porto by a clean four, while the German Bayer Leverkusen achieved a surprising victory over its guest, Atletico Madrid, with two goals without a response.

Club Brugge won its second successive victory after beating Leverkusen in the first round with a clean goal.

Club Brugge led the second group with 6 points, compared to 3 points for Atletico and Leverkusen, and Porto remained without credit after losing for the second time in a row.

And on the Dragao stadium, the Belgian team scored the four, Ferran Gutgla (15 penalty kicks), Kamal Soah (47), Andreas Skov Olsen (52) and Antonio Nosa (89).
