Noah Eile first received a yellow card in the 57th minute after a late sliding tackle.
Just minutes later, the next yellow came for the Mjällby defender after, according to the television images, he had an outburst at Degerfors player Joe Gyau, who fell in the penalty area.
The referee was right in front with the yellow card again - and Noah Eile was sent off.
Despite that, Degerfors did not manage to break the deadlock.
The closest came Diego Campos who nodded into the crossbar.
However, it was the first game of the season that Degerfors kept a clean sheet.
