After the 3–2 victory at home against Japan in March, Sweden's men's national team can look forward to playing in the Davis Cup Finals for the second year in a row.

The World Final begins with group games in four different European cities: Bologna, Hamburg, Glasgow and Valencia.

Sweden, led by brothers Mikael and Elias Ymer, plays in Bologna and faces Argentina, Croatia and home nation Italy.

Each international match consists of two singles matches and one doubles match.

Eight nations, two from each group, advance to the quarter-finals and possible semi-finals and final in Málaga on November 21-27.

Last year, Sweden reached the quarter-finals where they lost to the Russian Federation (RTF), who then became the eventual winners.

New expert commentator

SVT broadcasts Sweden's matches in SVT1, SVT2, SVT24 and also in SVT Play.

The matches are commented by Johan Ejeborg and expert commentator Magnus Gustafsson.

Gustafsson played a part in winning Sweden's last Davis Cup title in 1998.

- It was great fun to be asked to comment.

I haven't taken on a similar assignment for many years, but I'm still passionate about tennis, I live for the sport around the clock, says Magnus Gustafsson.

Gustafsson on Sweden's chances.

- They have made an incredible achievement in moving up to the top division.

I think that Sweden has overachieved in the Davis Cup over the years.

I hope they continue to do that, but they are underdogs.
