Jenny Rissveds missed the WC in mountain biking in France due to long-term cold problems.

But according to the association, she agreed to the WC on the road even before that.

"Now we hope that she will be completely healthy and have time to get some good passes before leaving for Australia," says Lucas Persson in a statement.

It is already clear that Emilia Fahlin will miss the WC after a fracture.

"She has cast her hand and will be out for four weeks, so unfortunately the season is more or less over for Emilia."

It's a shame that we lose Emilia's safe sprint as one of the team's possible tactical moves.

But we still have a good and interesting women's team for the World Cup in Australia - where we have simply chosen to focus only on the senior elite and the line races," says Lucas Persson.

Sweden's women's team consists of Jenny Rissveds, Julia Borgström, Hanna Nilsson and Nathalie Eklund.

In the men's race, Tobias Ludvigsson is so far the only Swede.

The WC will be decided in Australia September 18-25 and will be broadcast on SVT.
