Strandvallen in Mjällby was the scene of the middle meeting in the Allsvenskan on Monday evening.

But the home team Mjällby did not have much to oppose.

After just over ten minutes of play, Gustaf Norlin scored his first goal of the match to make it 1-0 for Gothenburg.

Then it went away.

In the 33rd minute of the match, Johan Bångsbo scored 2–0, neatly on the volley after Mattias Bjärsmyr headed the ball forward.

Just two minutes later, Emil Salomonsson then made it 3-0 for Gothenburg, as it went into the break.

The late reduction - the match's ultimate hit

With barely 20 minutes left, Gustaf Norlin took the opportunity to score his second goal of the evening to make it 4-0 for Blåvitt.

But before the referee Mohammed Al-Hakim blew the match off, Herman Johansson in Mjällby shot a long ankle on the half-volley, a neat hit to reduce the score to 1-4.

However, the goal was ruled an own goal as it caught Göterboirg's goalkeeper Werner Hahn before going in.

With the victory, Blåvitt overtakes Malmö FF in the Allsvenskan table.
