Kosovare Asllani was a success in his debut in the Milan shirt, despite the fact that the Swedish star didn't really know how his body felt after the European Championship.
- I only had one training session after the EC before my debut, so you never know how the body will react.
But I got off to a good start with two goals there.
Now you want to win games with the club and continue to help the strikers, says the new Milan icon.
"AC Milan wants to lift trophies"
Milan, who last season finished in third place in the Italian league, have ambitions to grow in Europe as well, where Kosovare Asllani is an important cog in the machinery.
- I get to take on a lot of responsibility and I enjoy that.
The club obviously wants to take a Champions League place and AC Milan is a historic big club on the men's side and wants to lift trophies, then it might take a little while considering that Juventus is at the forefront.
But you definitely feel their hunger for success, concludes Asllani.

There is higher competence in the way you work and people in the club, I really look forward to working with them, says the offensive midfielder who is again compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is also in the red and black club.
- That comparison has always been there.
But I am my own person and player.
If you don't know anything about women's football, you might think that I have the same height and strength as him, but you can't compare, we are completely different types of players, says Asllani, paying tribute to his Milan colleague.
- He is a fantastic player.
The best player that Sweden has had historically is Zlatan Ibrahimovic and it is difficult to compare yourself to him.
But I just want to be my own person and player and not be compared so much to others.
