Friday was a tough day for most of the crews.

Therefore, after climbing from fifth place on day one, to third place on day two, the Swedish duo was able to take the lead through the series 5–31–19.

- It seems that it has been a really tough day for the whole fleet.

No race was the same.

We continue to look forward to the next opportunity, reminding ourselves that it's just as tough for everyone.

Sometimes you end up on the wrong side of the margins and today was such a day for us, says Vilma Bobeck to the Swedish Sailing Association.

- We didn't have much lighter wind.

But today it came from land instead of from outside as before and a little from all possible directions.

It was a tough day but we make good starts and have good speed.

Then perhaps we are rarely in the right place.

But we continue to fight, continues Bobeck.

Bobeck and Netzler, who have only sailed together for a year, are one point ahead of European Championship gold medalists Odile van Aanholt and Annette Duetz of the Netherlands.

The WC ends on Monday 5 September.
