The degreasing operation so desired by Frank McCourt is taking shape at Olympique de Marseille.

Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik, who arrived in Marseille in January 2021, landed this Thursday afternoon in Turin to undergo his medical examination and join Juve.

It would be a paying loan, with a purchase option of just under 10 million euros.

Another departure, that of Kevin Strootman, whose salary weighed on OM's finances.

The midfielder, recruited 25 million euros by Rudi Garcia, is in series B, in Genoa, where he is on loan for a season.

A mandatory purchase option, in the event of the club's rise to the first division, would be included in the exchange.

But OM continues to cover part of his salary.

With these two departures, Olympique de Marseille is making great savings on its payroll, while owner Frank McCourt is demanding sales from its president, Pablo Longoria.
