After the first loss of the season against Piteå last round, the home team quickly took the lead.

From a corner in the tenth minute, Rebecca Knaak was able to head in 1-0 for Rosengård.

The German made her first start for Rosengård last time against Piteå, then she also headed in her first goal for the club.

Häcken, who scored six goals against Örebro in the previous round, also threatened going forward.

A few minutes before the half-time break, they played Andrine Hegerberg in a great position on the left side of the penalty area.

But at the moment of the shot, the Norwegian slipped and only got a loose ball on goal.

Barely a minute later, Rosengård was able to turn the game around.

Sofie Bredgaard hit a cutting deep pass perfectly in step to Olivia Schough who received and finished the quick attack with a well placed 2-0 goal.

Don't catch up

With the lead after 45 minutes of play, Rosengård was back in the lead.

Häcken, in need of points to catch up with the top, acted before the second half through a double change.

Among other things, striker Pauline Hammarlund, scorer most recently against Örebro, was allowed to take her place on the pitch.

But the really hot situations did not come for Häcken.

The best came in the 84th minute after a free kick that was headed down in front of the Rosengårds goal, but goalkeeper Teagan Micah came out to the ball right in front of the feet of a free Anna Anvegård.

With that, the result stood, which meant that Rosengård could regain the series lead from Linköping.

For Häcken, there was a noticeable loss of points in terms of the fight for a top three position and a Champions League spot.
