680 players in the Dubai Sports Council Summer Course for Football Academies

680 players from 24 teams representing 5 different clubs from the country are participating in the eleventh summer session of the football academies organized by the Dubai Sports Council, and its competitions continue in the football stadiums, clubs and companies in Dubai, and the participating clubs are Shabab Al-Ahly, Al-Wasl, Al-Nasr, Hatta , and Ajman.

The competitions between the participating teams intensified as the tournament approached its last week, which will conclude on the 30th of this month.

The tournament will be held in 6 age groups: the 12-year-old category for children born 2012-2013, and the 13-year-old category for those born 2010-2011, whose matches will be hosted by the Dubai Sports World stadiums at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The participating teams in the 14-year-old category, born 2009-2010, will compete in the stadiums of Al-Wasl Sports Club. The 15-year-old category matches, born in 2008-2009, will be held in the Al-Shabab Al-Ahly Club stadiums. The 16-year-old category, born 2007-2008, will be held in the Al-Nasr Club stadiums. The participating teams in the 17-year-old category, born in 2005-2006, compete in the stadiums of Shabab Al-Ahly Club.


At 5:30 pm tomorrow, Al-Ahly and Al-Wasl youths in the U-17 category will meet at Al-Ahly Youth Stadium in Al-Nahda, and at 5:30 pm Al-Ahly and Al-Nasr youths will meet in the U-16 category at Hamid Al-Tayer Stadium in Al-Nasr Club.

The matches are held in one group system for each category of one round, where all the teams compete among themselves. The first place after obtaining the best number of points will be crowned the champion of the category in which it participates, and the refereeing process for the matches of the session will be managed by referees accredited by the Emirates Football Association.
